More Warm Welcomes

What warm welcomes by the congregations of St. Peter and St. George Catholic churches when I spoke at the end of their church services today. Fr. Scott and Rita had invited me to talk about the Kindness Walk and it gave me a chance to hand a few dozen cookies.

St. George will be our destination on Day 2, the day we walk through downtown Seattle and Pike Street Market, then down to the waterfront and south through the industrial area. Of the nine days, this will be our longest walk (12.1 miles) and it’ll be so sweet to be greeted with a potluck meal and a chance to reconnect with folks from the congregation.
