Your T-Shirt Arrived!
When I ordered 1000 be Kind • do Good t-shirts, I had no idea that was the equivalent of 15 large boxes! Yikes! It’s a good thing that our dear friends Beckie and Scott offered to be our support vehicle, shuttling Bob and me around before and after our daily walks, along with water, snack bars and t-shirts.
So the plan is simple: If you walk with us—for a hundred yards, a mile, or a day—you get a t-shirt. If you show up along the way to share your story with us you get a t-shirt. If you come out to meet us because we are arriving at your faith community you get a t-shirt. If you are part of the welcoming group on our last day coming into the state Capitol in Olympia you get a t-shirt.
The shirts will be our only “signs.” They are not for sale. They are given with gratitude by Bob and I for the gift of your presence and as an expression (and reminder) of what has always been important in our lives.
So please, please, help us completely empty this mountain of boxes!
