Keeping in Touch

I really do cherish my connections with others… family, friends, and in this case, former students. The image above was shared with me this year by Michelle, one of my beloved high school students from 25 years ago. She had AI do a cartoon poster of her and the shirt it picked out—to represent her true self—was the shirt I gifted to her and her classmates a few years ago.

You often have no way of knowing if what you do or say will make a difference to others. Bob and I have had thousands of students in our classrooms over the years. What a joy it is to bump into them and see how they have navigated their lives, and how they are helping shape and nurture those around them.
